Who we are, how it started, and who keeps us accountable.
Story Mission is a small team that loves Jesus, loves missionaries, and loves telling a good story. We bring cinematic, high quality filmmaking to places that usually don’t get it, so the people doing the work can be seen, and the people supporting the work can be inspired.
Our founder, Nick Palomo, spent about 20 years in full time ministry and just as long in marketing and communications. Somewhere along the way those two worlds collided, and he saw something he couldn’t shake… the most powerful stories of what God is doing around the world were sitting on the mission field, untold. The way for missionaries to raise awareness is to tell the story of the person they have reached with the gospel.
Before Story Mission, Nick helped build the “My Stories” video testimony program at Scottsdale Bible Church under Pastor Jamie Rasmussen. We watched what happened when real people shared real stories of life change. Hearts opened. People leaned in. Millions of dollars were raised for global projects. The church was reminded that God is still moving.
In late 2022, Story Mission launched as a nonprofit with one simple goal… to go to mission fields around the world and bring those stories home.

We believe testimony is powerful. When someone sees a life transformed by Jesus, it does something a newsletter or a slideshow just can’t.
